Pulled this out of a bank roll. I have never seen such a large Cud.
Is it an actual Cud?
Does it have any collector value?
Is it worth adding to my collection? I'm not really into error collecting - YET)

Would appreciate our guru's calls on this (Coop, Spence, et al.)

Thanks, team.

That is just damage. Not a Cud.

A Cud is when part of the die breaks off of the corner:
Huge-Cud-On-Damaged-Quarter:-Real-Or-Faked-Cud?-Looks-Real,-Any-Value?
Leaving the edge of the coin affected and the reverse weakened:
Huge-Cud-On-Damaged-Quarter:-Real-Or-Faked-Cud?-Looks-Real,-Any-Value?
Huge-Cud-On-Damaged-Quarter:-Real-Or-Faked-Cud?-Looks-Real,-Any-Value?
Why is the reverse weak? Because of nothing pushing from the opposite side because of the void on the die, the reverses design is weak on that area. Can you see it now?

Got it!

Thanks, everyone.

I guess that explains why it weighs LESS that a normal quarter.
