Here is #2 of possible Roman medallions that I've been researching on Wildwinds for the last two weeks without success. They are mostly in "fairly" rough condition, but identifiable. The second coin is 36.5mm. Please help!!

To me, this is a Roman coin, but it is not from Italy, it is provincial.

I suck at portraits, though, so no further comment.

Perhaps Dionysus supported by satyr for the reverse imagery?

@ruger, I enlarged and lightened the obv hoping that a letter or two might be visbile. I am not seeing anything, but when you have the coin in hand is any of the inscription decipherable?

Quoting myself here, I'll now add: possible panther to the left, now that we have a better pic.

None of these are a match, but to give a sense of this possible reverse iconography:

@Bob L, Thanks for taking your time to help me with this identification. I did notice that all of the links you provided have "temporary" RIC numbers assigned. What does that mean?

Another with possibly similar reverse iconography, this time from Sagalassos, Pisidia...again, no match, though:

@Bob L Thanks again! This one is proving to be more difficult than the rest. My further research hasn't been very fruitful, but I'm not giving up.

The truth is out there. I'm sorry, but this is an ancient piece of metal from which a bolt washer can be made
