This Penny has a red star by it in the Proof Strikes column can any one tell me about the red star or any thing about this Penny...

Not sure what your seeing, it is not a proof.
Looks like a circulated 1966 cent to me.
The weight is well within the tolerance so nothing special there.

In 1965 the U.S. Mint removed mint marks from all coins until 1968 to help curtail coin hoarding of silver coins. From 1966 the 1967 no Uncirculated or proof set were minted at all, instead the made a Special Mint Set (SMS) for collectors. all other coins were of a business strike for circulation to the general public. Your coin looks like a standard Business strike.

The red star most likely is there because no proof coins were struck in 1965, 1966 or 1967. "Special Mint Sets" were produced during those years.

Right - red star means there were no proofs produced that year, Your coin just worth face value.
