it is the more common reverse design variety, RDV-005, for that year.
also, check out variety vista's website on the different reverse design varieties and their differences.http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...arieties.htm

As the others stated this isn't it.

This is an RDV-006 I found a few years back

What is the first clue?
1. The 'G'. On the RDV-005, the top of that device flows over half way on the top area. On the RDV-006, the top of the 'G' stops at half way.

2. The size of the mintmark. Note the 006 is fuller than than the 005. In fact the whole design on the RDV-006 is different, with wider devices.

The RDV-005 had rounded devices on the 'A'. The RDV-006 has flat wider devices on the 'A'. On the 006 all the devices are stronger. But more noticed on the 'A' between the two different year varieties on the 1988 cents.

CoopHome : Differences between the 1988 cent RDV-005 and RDV-006.
