Picked this up at my local LCS for $28.
I love the slight gold toning of the obverse (Indian Head) and like the "Caesar Cut" hairstyle of the buffalo.
My gut feeling says MS64, but I have a hard time substantiating the grade. What do you think?

Pics are a little hard to see the surfaces clearly, but I think it makes 65

When I am ready to place it in my album, I will take another pic (out of the 2x2) before doing so.

Solid 65 or even 66, but still so common that it wouldn't pay to have it graded.

Indeed. And since it goes into my Whitman album, it makes no sense to buy a graded one for more $$ and then crack it out anyway.
Rest in Peace

taking it out of the holder will help. the obverse looks like its in the 66 range. reverse could be altered because of the holder.

As promised, here are the photographs of the Buff "liberated" from its 2x2 prison:

It seems very hard for a cellphone camera to capture the true color and luster of a coin. I think the 2x2 was more accurate in terms of color/toning, but I assume the coin outside the 2z2 allows for a better determination of grade.

I find it amazing that you can buy a 80+ year old coin in MS65 condition for only $28. It's crazy.
