Melbourne mint 1959 is a scarce date with only 1.6 million minted, however quite common in low - mid grades. This coin could be VF. Quite scratched and historic cleaning visible on Queen's effigy.

Looks like a 1959 (m) minted in Melbourne which is slightly less common than the 1959 (p) minted in Perth.
The Perth version has a mint mark (".") after the Y of PENNY.

Since the coin is in VF condition you would probably only get about $7.50 if sold on a site like ebay.
