Going through boxes of old things from my grandmothers. Apparently, her father collected quite a bit on Notgeld in his time. Was wondering if any of this is valuable or if it bears historical significance? I am more than happy to take focused pictures as necessary.

Note - Note sure if all of these are Notgeld. Just an overwhelming portion of it appears so.

Thanks!

Some really interesting looking items there. Not in my wheelhouse either. Looking forward to what the pros have to say.

Hi @fleegz2007!
Sorry for the long delay in my reply. I have been busy with my notgeld hobby.
Scanning through your notes, they are a mix of German Reichsbanknotes (issued by the State), German notgeld (emergency issues issued by private concerns and individual towns and cities..........with a few Austrian notgeld thrown in. Nothing scarce though unfortunately. The German notgeld are a mix of 'serienscheine' and 'verkehrsausgaben'. These were issued in 1920 and 1921 predominantly.
Hope that helps?
