A 1958 DDO that bad somehow gotten back into the hopper, and Re- minted as a 1959D. I believe it is possible, and that it actually happened. I am today New to this site, and I'm having a few problems with posting a couple of photos.

Could be me, but I'm not seeing evidence of a '58 date.

Also, there is Zero chance that the dates would be in alignment if a 1958 got back into the "hopper" and was struck again.

EDIT: Welcome to the forum and thanks for adding your coin. Double-struck coins are within the realm of possibility, but that didn't happen to your coin, looking at the images provided.

Impossible for this to happen. The mint completely changes out the dies. And if "re-minted" where is the number eight?

to the CCF!

I see zero evidence of a DDO or 2 dates.
