Found this dime and it appears to be fairly new as the side with the queen has lustre though it is concaved. The side with Bluenose is humped with 2 rings...no visible date. Is this a minting error or something else happen to it? Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a Dryer Coin or coin have been used as a shim un der leg of a metal chair or table. Anyway, it happened well after it left the mint.

It is only an error if it happened during the striking of the coin.
What you have could not have happened at that time so it is damage
no matter how it happened.

I did not mention but the rim is not humped no mishapen in any way. The sides of the coin are fine with proper grooves.

Doesn't really matter what caused the damage. It still isn't an error.

I thing this coin it is a Mint error, which include planchet error. One side is concave with no letters damage, and the other side have an small inner punch circle done before the die strike with no doubt of.

Do have 2.07 gr and 18.03 mm in diameter and 1.16 mm thickness? Intrigue me the fact the dots rim are far from the edge, also the ridded of the coin (not see very well) has bigger distance.

By the design I will estimate 1979 to 1989 the year. Here attached the photos together for better look.
