1919-S Mercury Dime - Odd Looking Damage - Mint Error Or PMD?

one_fine_dime Pillar of the Community United States 591 Posts	Posted 03/26/2021 10:40 pm I noticed the "L" in LIBERTY is really funky on this specimen. I was wondering if this could have possibly occurred during minting or if it is definite PMD. I've never seen metal moved to this extent and not show other damage surrounding it.
