This coin a radiate crowned head right on the obverse and it looks like a thunder bolt in the center with wording both above and below. It's 24mm. Please help.

Probably a radiate Helios obverse. Try Macedon.

I'm curious, what reference books do you own? Whirlwinds is an excellent source for information, but you need to start putting together a reference library. Most everyone here is glad to help, but to a certain point. At some point you will have to learn on your own how to attribute your collection. I would recommend you get a copy of David Sears books on Greek coins to start.

There is an expression we like to use. "Buy the book before the coin".

@echizento, Thanks for the information. I have all three of the David Sears volumes as well as his Greek Coins. Before I "knew what to look for" in the way of Emperor, city or other pertinent information, I purchased MANY, MANY coins (in lots) without any information provided. I purchased the ICARD book as well to help me identify the coins, but many of the inscriptions are not in the book. I've also purchased many other books to help me identify my coins - too many I think. If I know the city or emperor to begin to research my coins that is a BIG help. I just need a starting point for many of my coins. Am I posting too many? If so, I'm sorry.

Well it sounds as though you are working on a decent reference library.

@echizento, Can you tell me where I can find documentation on how to read the inscriptions on Roman Provincial coins?

Honestly, I just have the Greek alphabet printed out on the wall, upper lower case like below, and you can also go to wildwinds and have these common cities printed out over your desk as there are only so many combinations for the Provincials you have in your lots. Just a suggestion. I also have weights of all the denomination of Greek coinage etc. So around your desk you have a lot of things pinned to the plasterboard walls of your house.

MAΡKIANOΠOΛIΣ = Markianopolis
NIKOΠOΛEITΩN = NEIKOΠOΛEI = Nikopolis ad Istrum; Moesia Inferior

Thanks @Louisvillekyshop. I'll "try" to decipher some of my coins.
