this is not a matter of evaluating the coin and or its properties.
It is simply to suggest that there is a fairly scarce coin up for auction.
sometimes it is a matter of just having one of a rare piece... or being happy not having one.

These are scarce only in higher grades.
Over the years I have bought more than twenty unattributed on ebay.
The one 47P7 linked to last week was worthwhile, wish I had seen it sooner.
Today's coin is kinda meh!, harshly cleaned and highly overgraded as pointed out by doctorman1941, only worth about twenty bucks IMO.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

The best one I still own is F15.
There is a PCGS MS64 OBV1 that has shown up unattributed on Heritage a couple of times, I know that another member here has seen it as well, both times it went unsold with a reserve of US$6500.
In retrospect I probably should have jumped on it.

How could HA miss that designation? or the submitter?

the one last week was a BIN. And, as you said, it was an excellent buy.
when I saw it I said to myself: yes? No, yes no NO! way too many coins as it is.
so I am waiting for an 1872 obv1 or an 1870 obv2..... wishful thinking?
