If you rotate the first photo 180 degrees, I think it is the image of a saint (the dots forming a halo). I can;t figure out much of the legend... CV at 6:00 (after rotating).

On the reverse, if you rotate the image 90 degrees counterclosckwise, it looks like maybe a legend + R----N DVX. Central design looks like a small cross pattee with wedges in the angles.

Maybe @erafjel will get it?

I'm thinking it might rather be this one: https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=l...464&lot=1688
Numista lacks an image, but adds some info: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces113385.html

It matches the '+ R----N' inscription better. "Very rare," nice.

Edited: Ah, you saw it too!

In fact, in my third career, I am a winer (not to be confused with a whiner ... or a wino, neither of which normally gets you a paycheck).
