Hi There,

I have this penny in question.

It seems like a major die gouge across the penny from 2 to 6 o'clock.

I used this to help my reasoning.

But there is a dent between U/S. Does anybody know what that term would be called.

I would like to hear an expert opinions.

At fist glance the feature appears to be a linear plating bubble. Is the the feature raised, or 'dug into' the coin's surface (incuse)?
