When you say 'metallic', are you thinking the surfaces may be plated, or polished?

how much value would that take off? It is not an expensive coin. About $25.

It's such a common date in UNC condition, let alone a Details coin. I would say closer to $5, $10 tops

Edit: this is assuming it is indeed polished.

I'm with you grape. this coin could be a proof. the flatness in areas is seen on other proofs as well. I could see this as PF64
