First welcome to the the forum

I've been to Laughlin many times. I like doing karaoke there many times in different casinos there through the years.
Three different issues happen on that year:
1.
Machine Doubling:
Depends on the devices, what they look like. There is a great chance it is
Machine Doubling as the 1968-1972 had lots of
Machine Doubling. What does
Machine Doubling look like?

Not the tops of the devices on the upper image. Note how the devices on the outside edge are flattened. This is not
Machine Doubling. ALso on the second image the direction is different but also showing
Machine Doubling. This is quite common this year.
2. Swollen master hub issues that year:
But some other odd things happened that year. If you are seeing the devices touching the rims or even in the rims. That was an issue with the master hub and all the cents that year looked like that.

The following year they created a new master hub that didn't have the swollen issue. When you the two dates side by side, then you will see what I'm talking about:

So it that is what you are seeing, that also is not a doubled die.
3. Doubled working hub doubling:
A third issue was on the motto devices that year:

Now the example above this is not a
DDO. It is a doubled working hub issue. I've had this issue for a long time and always had my doubts as they were many listing that all looked the same, and the reason was the doubled working hub was creating doubled dies that were all alike. Note the examples from this site:
http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...O%201968.htmThey all have the same issue and were from a working hub that was doubled and creating dies with the same doubling. So they are not real doubled dies, but they look like what you would see on a doubled die. (This does happen quite often, but when it does, it creates issues.
These were showing up on many different dies and they determined it was a doubled working hub issue. Not the affected area above on this. if is called on the site:

What type of images will be helpful to us?
So I've revealed three issues that year. So if you have a read doubled die, the last tag will help you identify what die it might match up to. But keep in mind the one with the WWH0-001 is not a real doubled die. So when you get some images that we can see what you see, then we can help you. Something like these:

_AAB.jpg)

Images this size would be more helpful to see what you have. Normally there is not this much going on in one year, but without images I was trying to show you, what would help us see what your are seeing on your coin. Let us know what you are seeing on your coin that may already match your coin.
