2001 Lincoln Cent-Wrong Planchet?

I found this Lincoln Cent, it is much thinner than a penny of the same year, thin as a dime but slightly larger than a dime. However it weighs 2.4 g. As if it were a normal cent. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Both sides of the coin appear to have been ground down. Planchet is normal size just damaged.
