There's paperwork, I can tell you that. You have to fill out a customs declaration.  to the CCF!

I don't know if anyone has done it or not. If you do, remember there is still a limit of $5 on cents or nickel five cents being exported.

I seem to recall that there was a limit to prevent them from being sent north to get around the melt ban here.

 You can always do as I did when my Some was in Europe. Neither of us said there was any coins in the package. Always all went through.

With the COVID border restrictions, I hardly ever get Canadian coins in change in MI anymore. I bet the same is true of American coin over on the Canadian side.
