I get this one in a lot. I'm looking for some informations about the clip position. The blakesley effect can be seen almost at the top, 180 degrees from the clip at the bottom. How about those around 4 and 9 o'clock. If we go back during blank production, what scenario can be involved for this 25 cents with almost 3 clips in the half bottom part? I would like to understand more this one.

Thanks

The damages on the rim I will let the experts on this to pronounce. Me I see PMD.

The clip seem to be a real one. The arc of the clip coincide with the coin. I putted on CAD and fit. It is not the bigger clip I know but still be a clip.

Perfectly legit triple clip, the rims dovetail nicely, even with the smaller rim clips.

Nice error.

Ok, a small mystery.
Can anyone please explain how a TRIPLE clip can happen.......?
Not a technically inclined guy, but just a question.

Thanks SPP. Usually, I was looking for the Blakesley effect to confirm the clip. Since not all clips have that effect, what is involved with the dovetail shape? Is it inside the clip, the shape of the clip? Thanks!
