I am attempting to find more of these Silver Eagle capsules that fit into US Mint issue boxes, they are direct fit to the Silver Eagle but have a lip around the edges that make them just under 2 inches in diameter.
There is writing on the back of them that is part of the capsule itself, that may help find where they come from. I am interested in buying them in large quantities. Any help would be appreciated.

@areeweblind: Interesting nickname - What's the story behind it?

I get the impression that the ASE capsules you've shown were part of a custom, third-party set vs. general stock sold by supplies dealers. It doesn't surprise me that you are having difficulty locating them, or that all of the kind suggestions offered above are for regular ASE capsules vs. the ones you posted.

You say that you are looking for "large quantities." How many exactly? 10? 100? 1,000?

Actual US Mint capsules are often available online from collectors/dealers who submitted the coins once held by them for grading but kept the original packaging. Depending on how many you're looking for, it might not be too hard to locate enough of these official "gently used" capsules so that your pieces will fit properly in the US Mint boxes you referenced.

@commems
The nickname is one I've used online for years, I got it from the movie Bruce Almighty. The scene where the homeless man preacher has a sign that states "Are Ewe Blind"

I have not thought about these capsules being custom, that is a distinct possibility. This capsule came from a Silver Eagle that used to be for sale in a bank lobby, so it is possible the bank made a custom order. The boxes are similar enough to US Mint boxes as well, and may be custom too. I should look into a company that could make them custom for me.

The quantity I am looking for is certainly over 1,000. I am buying the "gently used" ones but they come, more often than not, cracked and scratched beyond usability.

@areeweblind: Hope you find a solution! I would give Air-Tite Holders, Guardhouse and Lighthouse a call re: a custom job. One (or more) of them might have the ability to help you. Good luck!
