My grading skills have deteriorated, but I say VF30.

I cracked this one out of a ICG F15 holder. It was not a bargain as I paid $92. There is a PCGS VF 20 1917 D T1 up for auction this week at Great Collection that shows more wear than this coin.

ICG seems all over the place. Paying $92 implies something like F15-VF20.
Not sure if it makes sense to send it to PCGS for grading. You would need to get VF25 minimum to make money on it.

I did not buy it to send in for grading as the SLQ collection is currently raw coins, but I am heading into the $ deep end of SLQ's. and I am sure that some more will be in TPG holders. There was no point in keeping the 1917 D in the holder as the F15 ICG may hurt the resale.

I hate having to deal with split grades but I see a VF+ obverse and a F reverse for a net grade of VF.
