Just found an extra ray on eagle, right below his beak, is this a common error or rare ? Picture may be not so great but dollar is in MS61 condition, error can be seen by naked eye

What you have there is a clash mark from the obverse. If you check out vamworld.com, you can find the appropriate VAM to go along with your dollar. I narrowed it down to these 3 possible vams, vam-1AC, vam-8B, or vam-8C. There might be more different 1924 clashes in that area though, one would have to check. I go to this website all the time for any info I need for silver dollar varieties.
