Dear all,

I came across this particular coin and noticed that one of the eyes is blurred.

Is this an error coin ?

Any idea?

Thanks.

Hi Allwin, welcome to the forum.

What do you think can be an error here? I remember coming across them in circulation in South Korea few years ago. I think they've been circulating there as change for more tha 40 years. I am seeing just a well-circulated and worn out heads side. Something else I am missing to see?

Hi molydeii,

Haha, I thought the blurred eye is due to "error".

Thanks for your comment :)

This is not an error. The right eye and cheekbone are highpoints on the obverse of this coin and it is almost always the first to go while in circulation.
