1988 Washington - Severe Die Polish Lines

I have this 1988 Washington quarter that has what
I think are kind of severe die polish lines. You can clearly
see them with the naked eye, and at first I thought
they were scratches from a possible cleaing,
but they are clearly not scratches
or incused into the design. they are raised lines.
You can see the lines continue on either side of the nose but not
on the nose and on both sides of the hair braid, but not on the braid.
