But they are in all different directions on the obverse, I don't understand? In the first photos you can see southeast and east lines. In the second set you can see northeast lines.

Regardless of the lines, still looks cleaned based on color.

MIKE1487 - polish lines not always go in the same direction. what you are looking for is if they cross over the devices rather than just the fields. there are very few that do that like the one on the knee. there is no way with that heavy of polishing that they would not cross over the devices if this was from cleaning. for the most part they appear to be arcing left to right
