To the CCF

There is no such thing as a 1943 over 2 over 1.

I thought it might be Doubling but it does not match the only 1943 Doubled date
and there are no known varieties showing that.
Not exactly sure what the cause is but probably damage of some sort.

PS-
In the future, please crop and rotate your photos as per CCF instructions.
My monitor is too big to try and turn sideways.
