Blowing off steam here. Have a few quips and a few heavy questions regarding 3rd time rodeo silver cowboys, cowgirls, etc.
If your wealthy please disregard this post if your small fry and dont fear laying it out like me then:
Has any of you made money since silver jumped and stayed there (here) and were you going nuts like me in May 2018 - Nov. 2019ish buying everything you could afford on JMBullion APMEX etc?
I bailed out of about $11,000.00 in high grade rare coins nobody wanted in 2018 (ahem- error coins) and bought silver everything with $8000.00 of it. Never broke 1000 oz. but was only shy 40 ounces.

I have been selling the gray dingy stuff and buying some things I needed (wanted) and blew half out in on a 30 day roughing it hunt/fish OR. MT. Wyoming and CO. road trip in my silver bar purchased 1994 Ford Ranger with camper shell. I made a little money I reported it (because my incomes low my bullions gain was not 30%).
Was 17 in 1980 sold $83 in face in nothing but barbers mercs and JFK's. Coin shop in Leavenworth, KS paid 35 an ounce. It went down 6 months later.
2007 winter I sold my 4 ounces gold and 100 ounces silver for 3x what I paid. 2011 it went back down.
Silverbacks...people have been saying were going to crash into Saturn and silver will go to $100.00 an ounce since the Comstock Load.
Its going to spike and after the 2024 election go back to twenty bucks.
Inflation, my first car loan in 1981 was 16.75% with a major bank. Our2% rate is a yawner compared to Reagenomics. Old timers question...? Why isn't anyone with any sense talking any sense into some of these maniacs? Silver is a great hedge, but can be costly, may not be the end all be all and yup its going down at some point. I took the money and ran had fun and what you see is what's now in the bank lockbox Am I unique? Bet not, lets here any other small timers like me confess to buying Jon boats, bags of decoys, ATV's with all that free money from silver. If you feel its none of my business please give this post no attentions.
Are questions like mine only asked in smoky dimly lit coin dealer card games? Yup would like to hear about people making money and who flipped their stack in time. Hard stories would be interesting along with success stories. The guy on arcadiaeconomics I love him he is great and at the top of his game but he needs a vacation, its gotten under his skin I think.
