Hey everyone,

I came across this 1970-S Washington quarter that I thought was in a pretty good condition.
Would this be considered Cameo?
Any grading advice on it?

Appreciate it.

The obverse of this proof certainly looks like a cameo, but not the reverse in these pics.

this is a proof washington. the reverse lighting may be hiding the CAMEO. maybe post another shot of the reverse at a slight angle. both sides need to be in order to get the designation. based on these photos the coin may have seen circulation and if so would be designated as an impaired proof.

It does look like a cameo, I do not think it would make a DCAM though. You need to put it in the right sized holder so it doesn't slide around in the capsule.

Thank you everyone for the quick responses.
I will take better pictures of it and will definitely put it into a proper sized coin holder after I do it.

I tried to get better shots of it from an angle.
Hope it helps.
And thanks again.

I'd say this is a case of a more fresh obverse die than reverse die. Wouldn't make cam in a slab due to the reverse lacking cam, but still a nice looking proof.

still way too much lighting rcavalcanti7 in the last set. your second set of photos are probably closer to what the coin looks like in hand and if so i'd say no CAM. proofs are tough to get a good photo.

Thanks everyone, it really is hard to get good pictures of it. Those are pretty close photos of what it looks like in hand, so I'd agree with no CAM as well.
