I snagged this tonight for $104 Inc Sales Tax and Shipping. This is an underrated date and Greysheet and PCGS price guides are completely useless when determining prices. Though in all fairness that applies for most 3CN except for the most common.

This coin has a soft reverse strike at the center which is not unusual for the date, though this was a bit softer than usual. It also looks to have a bit of PVC on the reverse, but nothing I can't safely remove. Thoughts? I put this around F-12ish.

I'm terrible at grading these, so no opinion, but the mark across the cheek is quite distracting to me.

I'd be around F-12 for this one.

a lot of what appears to be wear especially on the columns is from strike. the separation and sharpness of the lines on the columns is more like an XF coin as well as the bow. the roundness of the cheek and full liberty are more in the VF range. the strike is going to effect this coin. this is a difficult coin to grade. if I net this coin at VF30 I cant see them deducting more that 2 grades for strike. VF20

A not uncommon weak strike. Looking past that I'd say somewhere in the VF range. The 1876 is one of the more difficult "common" dates to find in higher circulated grades
