what is the model number or search string for Amazon you used? I would love to get one like that or similar.

Need to cut down on the glare. As a general rule, I for one do not like to see a photo of the monitor. Rarely are they good enough to help members with their questions. John1

So mine has been put into cold storage, Scott? Nice machine. I can't use my old one with the computer, since I have no disc-drive with my new one.

H ... I don't know what an SW is, so, for sure, I can't download it. I can't use any of my old discs with this computer, including lots of research that folks have sent me. I may try to just get a drive to go with this new system.

Bill, I think you can get a 3.5" floppy disc drive that hooks up to your USB port on your computer. Maybe that would work for you. I just checked and there are some available on ebay.

I have the same exact scope and it works well. To get full sized images of large coins I turn the base plate around and place it atop an 8" tall box. Lighting can still be an issue at times. Wish it had a switch to cut off the LED's and use an alternate light source though. And I have found that it must be kept at minimum resolution setting or else the images become distorted (eliptical). With the TF card installed, it is easy to upload the pics to my computer even as tech challenged as I am.

Well, I will have to get a disc drive to hook to my computer. Not in a hurry for it, as I have lots of yard work to do with my broken back.

Qustions to this fantastic scope as I am thinking of getting one.
1 Does it have a power supply built in, I.E can you plug it into 110-volt power to run and or charge? 2 or does it run exclusively on one 3000ma rechargeable battery ? if so, what kind? I guess it is 3.7 volt rated 3000mah.
3 Where are the controls located for it and how is the connection made to a PC? (via a USB connection?) 4 there is another unit available with controls on a cord? I hate to have it shipped and is not right.
thanks guys for you patience and help H

Those are pretty decent close-ups gidgit. They must be sold out at Amazon. But since I clicked on the link yesterday I was getting ads for a virtually identical scope branded Mustool from a couple of different sources. Looks the same, priced much lower, ships from China or US, may even be available from Walmart. @47P7, just google Mustool 1200. @okiecoiner, If you had a QX5 you may be out of luck. When I switched to a Windows10 computer a couple of years ago I tried to use my QX5. I couldn't get it to work so I called in my son the nerd. He came and had a look, said it was obsolete and there is no longer any support.
