Price increases for gold products are being announced in the 10 May Federal Register.

The grid for Pricing of Numismatic Gold, Commemorative Gold, Platinum, and Palladium Products hasn't been changed yet, so I guess the new pricing will go into effect on 10 May when it's published in the Federal Register.

The Federal Register announcement only shows an excerpt of the new pricing grid, but it looks like all gold products except the commemorative half eagles are increasing anywhere from 9.5% (1 ozt products) to 17.3% (.1 ozt AGE proof).

The mint is trying to squeeze all the money out of us. The prices on the silver proof sets show this as well. The metal prices did not have a dramatic increase from last year to explain the prices.

I cannot afford gold in any case, so no worries here.

As for the silver proof set, 2020 was my last one. If one does not like the price, just skip the offering.
