Is anyone aware of forgeries of this silver coin? I'm awaiting delivery of one, on approval, but the seller's given size is 1 mm too large and weight is out by nearly 1 gram. He's always been accurate in the past, so should I be expecting a fake?

If he is reputable, probably not, its possible he got sold a fake and was unaware, or he mismeasured it.

Arrived today and it appears to be a wrong'un.
29.4 gr, 39.7 mm. Should be 28.28 gr, 38.61 mm

Those measurements sure seem like they would be outside of tolerance for a mint.

The design of it doesn't seem to show anything suspect, but those numbers don't lend confidence

Without thinking, I just place this on my laptop, bottom right hand corner. Laptop has magnetic fasteners and, guess what? It stuck. Very good fake though.
