coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/12/2021 9:41 pm Proof coins are struck at twice. (Some even more) Business strike coins are only struck once. Machine Doubling is not part of the strike. It occurs after the strike altering the outsides of the devices. Kind of like a kick in the shins right after the strike because the machine is not working properly. Report this Post to the Staff
