Did anyone buy these?

Price $7.95-- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is excited to celebrate the year 2008 by offering the 2008 $2 Single Note. This product features a crisp, uncirculated Series 2003A $2 note with a serial number beginning with "2008xxxxD." Each 2008 $2 Single Note is protected by a clear, acid-free polymer sleeve, in a commemorative 2008 folder.

Total quantity on this product is 10,000 notes for each Reserve

So far they released -

Boston
Philadelphia
Cleveland
Dallas
Chicago
San Francisco
Richmond
New York
Atlanta

Just wondering if anyone knows if - St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Kansas City will be released ? These notes sold out on the same day they were released. Here is an example of what they look like...

Sounds gimmicky to me, plus it's already been done. Witness the UK L5 for 1997 with the prefix HK (for Hong Kong).

Yeah, I'm not going to buy any... it's just a $2, jeez...

huh.. never heard about the L5 with the HK prefix... did they sell out too? Then HM Treasury made a handsome profit!

These are from the US government (Bureau of Engraving and Printing) and they are already sold out, I was just wondering if anyone knew if the other 3 Reserves were going to come out seeing 2008 is now over...

I have been anxiously awaiting the St Louis release but I have not been able to find any more info and I thought they were all supposed to be released in 2008
