Found this in a lot of tokens. Apparently B.A. Stevens made Billiard tables. Does anyone know what a "Double Load" could be? The reverse is blank.

Total guess here but maybe it was good for two games from the table. Two racks if you may.

If these were used in the tables it seems like they would be common but I cannot find any examples online. Nothing in Tokencatalog.

This seems like an older token. I did a google search and it says the first coin-operated laundromat started in 1947.

When search I see one reference to the billiard table company and another to an author who wrote a catalog of Butchers' supplies; Refrigeration and ice-making equipment; Hotel, bar and restaurant supplies. I doubt the latter would require a token.  I feel this token gives two plays on a billiard table, a load being one rack of balls (as chafemasterj referenced above).
