The post on the 1955 LW struck through reminded me of this quarter. At the top left corner of the first flag west of the girl looks to be a die chip, but is odd shaped. So I am asking the experts what they think.

I'd say it was a Die Chip. Don't know what else it could be.

Ok awesome. I just remember the post on the 1955 penny and brought this coin back to my attention. Didnt know if it would be a struck through from the way the die chip looks. Thank you! Into a 2x2..

Not struck through. Recall that a die chip occurs when the metal of the planchet flows into this extra space of the die during the striking. As such it will take whatever shape as the piece of missing metal from the die.
