I have went crooked eyed staring at this S, and eye. I keep comparing this to RPM-012, but haven't got one right yet also the posts on the MD of the 1969 and 1970 S brought doubt. I do not want to jump the gun on DD because I have not done my research yet. If notice something please point me in the Direction.

Well I notice you are looking on the outsides of the devices/mintmark as well. On the devices and mintmarks you need to look at spread. An enlarging of the devices on to show that the die was hub doubled, or the mintmark had s spread between punchings. I'm not seeing either on this one. When I say spread, it would look like this:
Note on the first images the mintmark sizes. Note the die is showing slight doubling on the date area, but the mintmarks are punched into the die later is a separate step. If the die were doubled and the mintmark isn't that is normal for a doubled die back then. Since 1990, the mintmark and the die hub process is not separate steps.

See what I mean at looking on the centers of the devices and not on the outside edges. Machine Doubling most of the time found there. So if you don't see spread on a coin, move on to the next one. As if you keep looking, guess what you'll find? Machine Doubling. Centers of the not the edges. Hope this helps. Sometimes look here and then there, you loose perspective. That is why I like the side by sides, because can see both images at the same time. Your brain then sees what is different.

Ok so if it's looking like the date and mint mark is doubled I would assume that would be MD correct? Thank you for those example pics, and ya actually was looking at the outside of the device. I failed to remember on the 1969 LM post on the S mint you posting that. That was the entire reason I pulled these back out to look at them again. It was mentioned they are listed as RPM's but are actually MD both in Wexler and Coneca?
