There seems to be some doubling around the eye, any thoughts? I saw some references online about a '72-d with a doubled eye and lips but this doesn't look like the pics of those I saw.

Here's a side by side eye comparison with another 1972 Kennedy...I think I agree with John1

MD. Note how the eye area is reduced with the Machine Doubling? A high bounce happened after strike, hit the coin on just that area. Most the time, MD doesn't bounce that high.
