This coin don't have the teardrop on 4 but the rays are broken on the reverse. Picture did not give justice to the actual appearance of the coin.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Looks like a standard business strike to me.

If it is, you are one of the luck to have one of only 12 in the entire world.. VERY rare..

So just looking at the texture of the provided coin, it looks like a normal business strike, no die markers either

All SMS 1964 Kennedy half dollars were struck from a single pair of dies. That means they all have the tiny piece of "extra metal" on the bottom of the crosslet of the 4 - So........

I think people are trying to use real 1964 Kennedy 1/2 Dollars and make them look like a SMS 1/2 Dollar. I picked one up in a coin shop for the price of silver in AU condition. I thought it might have been but not extra metal under the cross let. However the surface, due polish marks, and surface marks and reverse all looked like it pointed towards an SMS but without that piece of metal it's not. So people are altering them in a way to make them look genuine, but the chances of finding one are low with a fair few been found already.

If you can't trace it's provenance back to the sale of Eva Adams collection, it isn't a SMS.

Oops, The graded 69 and 1 other does not have teardrop under the 4 and more than 12 are known, not just re-grades.. Have one that every die mark and line matches, scuffed obverse and reverse with barely a teardrop, however the seperation in We Trust is also present but very close... closer less chances of teardrop caused by die crack.
Coin has a sanded looking surface front and back. Reverse Die markers match exact as PCGS graded at Of America and Half Dollar... very miniscule dots like sand blasted with super fine scuffed sanded look surface, All Devices look even and smooth, not rough or business strike looking, square rim.
The sanded type surfaces cause that gray/black pearly
