Hi everyone
I am new to Ancient Coin collecting and I am currently doing as much reading and research as I can.
I was told this forum is a safe place for new collectors to ask questions and seek help.
Can I ask people's thoughts on the following coins
(In terms of genuine / fake / reasons why)
Cheers Jay

Philip II so Alexander's father and a Gordian III. There are a lot of the Philip II Apollo coins so aside from it looking fine and no issues I can see not a heavily faked coins. And there are nearly countless Gordian III coins so again same reasoning, looks fine. Was not great silver at that time purity wise and the dies were often worn like your reverse shows.

2nd coin is an antoninianus from Gordian III. His coins are some of the least expensive for Roman collectors. Coin appears at first glance to be authentic to me, just maybe harshly cleaned.
