By the way, I check sellers items and I don't see that he sells roman coins by the bags or by lots. Did he really have another bag (lot) to make that mistake?

I was wondering that too... he said it was the better bag but then said for her not to bid on the other bag when he puts it up later. little weird but maybe he was intending on a second bag once the first one sold. Its a heck of a lot of hoopla for $2.50

Yes, these coins are better than the one advertised. I suggest next time, try to communicate more and be patient. Don't be trigger happy in giving negative feedbacks.

I think an apology is needed and negative feedback withdrawn.

Again communication is very important. If you want it, talk to him and see what he thinks about you keeping it. But first an apology for not giving him the chance to correct the mistake and make the deal a good one for the both.

Contrary to popular (but very misguided) belief, the customer is not always right. I'm proactive, not reactive. I'm not going to wait till something happens to me.

If you take time to read posts properly scubu you will then read we approached him before we posted feedback. I do not know how much you have sold on ebay but if you take time to read our feedback you will discover we have good feedback from those we have purchased coins from. tell me would you tell a customer the have to wait another 3 weeks till things are sorted, if you do then I am glad you have block us as bidders as I wouldnt want to do business with you

Quote:I do not know how much you have sold on ebay but if you take time to read our feedback you will discover we have good feedback from those we have purchased coins from. You can be a total jerk to every single seller and have all positive feedback. So what? Quote: tell me would you tell a customer the have to wait another 3 weeks till things are sorted He said a week. And yes, if I was out of the country for a week I would tell any customer that now wouldn't I? How could I possibly do anything until then? You can't wait a week over a stinkin' 1.70 GB? Nothing he said was a lie I'm sure. You absolutely got better coins, no ifs, ands, or buts. He made a mistake. But you chose to pull the trigger and neg him immediately without giving him a chance to rectify it. I notice you conveniently left out your reply to him, given his response, I'm assume it was a doozy. But don't bother posting it now.

I spend months at a time away from home and I am often called out at very short notice. When I did sell on ebay sometimes my auctions were affected. I have been lucky that my buyers were understanding on the delay. Unless I am missing something here there was very little communication at least that which was posted. Since when did the world become so intolerant of mistakes? Negative feedback really hurts a sellers reputation and in the end his bottom line. Not everyone has a complete understanding of the English language. Communicating in a foreign language is not easy. I think the seller got his message across even with that handicap and attempted to make things right. With the information posted I consider the negative unjust. Just my Two Cents worth.
