This topic has briefly been mentioned before in the 'Post your Tokens' thread, but as I just picked up a number of examples from the recently distributed Donald Partrick collection I thought it was worth revisiting.
From what I am aware, in the summer of 1984 a hoard of uncirculated Tiffin and Bust & Harp tokens (numbering in the thousands) were discovered in the St. Lawrence River; these are easily identified by the characteristic cleaning that the examples underwent. The exact location of the hoard seems to be an enigma, and it seems that two locations with "Thousand Islands" in the name are confused: 1) The Thousand Islands near Prescott, Ontario, and 2) the Rivière des Mille Îles in Quebec.
The Quebec location is aligned with the common notion that these were found near the Assomption River (which is adjacent to the Rivière des Mille Îles); however, as is to be seen, envelopes in the Partrick collection (evidently from Warren Baker) carry the tag "Prescott Hoard." I welcome any further information or discussion of the topic.
In any case, here are the tokens:
Tiffin, Breton 961, Co 1

Tiffin, Breton 961, Co 2. According to Partrick, only
4 examples of this variety were present in the hoard.

Bust & Harp, Breton 1012, Co 3

Bust & Harp, Breton 1012, Co 17. Off-center strike

Bust & Harp, Breton 1012, Co 17. What is noted as a "die crack" is apparently just a lamination error.

And the envelopes.
