I have 100 uncirculated 1965 Canadian dollars as well as 20 each of 1963 and 1964. I have about 150 "prooflike" sets from 1964-6.

I am not a numismatist. I only know what I see on the web. I live in Southern California. The US coins I inherited are easier to deal with, although I think I will hold onto the double eagle for its sheer beauty.

How may I sell these coins? They are beauties.

Thank you for your advice.

Take them into a dealer for melt value or ebay, They are currently worth about $30 CAD per set, individual dollars can sell for $20-25 assuming mint state, but it takes time. Bulk lots can go quicker, but usually for not much more than melt value. My guess is that your quickest and easiest way is to take to a dealer, silver is priced quite nicely right now.

Anything that is circulated is basically worth melt value. You can look at https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php for rough values, remember that your sets are PL and most coins of that time period are probably in the PL 63-64 grade, some exceptional ones can worth more money, but it takes time to sort through them.

Alternatively you can get your post count up and sell on here, I recently purchased a unopened box of 5 1965 sets for $35 each. Will probably do a similar thing again.

With the above assessment. The Silver dollars unless a high grade, are not worth much more than melt and are a hard sell if want
to sell them individually. The sets were going for about $30.00 each but with the rise in the price of silver, you could probably get $35.00.
Don't forget these quotes are in CDN dollars.

There are a few varieties to look for in the 1965 prooflike sets, namely with the 1c and the dollar. You might fare better selling those on ebay, if you provide good photos. Also, some coins with really strong cameos will carry a premium.

On the silver dollars, you might also consider contacting online dealers that sell Canadian silver dollars (eg Provident or APMEX) and see what they will offer you.
