Got this from a vending machine today and a small bust mounty quarter. This one is in really good condition for a circulated 2000 quarter. Worth keeping or worth spending lol? I believe some of these are supposed to be worth like 2$ can anyone tell me if this is just the regular version

Ya I think your right, I don't see any of the errors, just read and article and the varieties worth keeping have like die issues around the hands or something with the crown or doubling on the d but I don't see any, I can't weight to order a microscope for coines

Ahh they are melting down all the coins they find before a certain year, so are some older coins worth keeping even if they are not that rare?

Not really you can find the 2000 whole set of 25 cents in unc condition for around 10 bucks, there was so many produced and hoarded, lots of dealers at shows will have them.

I don't mean this coin in particular, like I have a small bust mounty quarter(not worth more then face) but it's older, I have a few 1970-1980 quarters I need to look at but if there is no errors and the coins in good condition should I keep it? I wish I kept all my coins from my childhood. Alot more silver coins in circulation 25 years ago lol. I had a few 50¢ silver coins. I'm pretty sure they were stolen in foster care-_-

All circulating Canadian coins since 1967 has no silver, except for a low mintage 1991 or 2000 P 25 cents and some major rotations, the rest are worth face. Dealers are really smart if they can get more than double face for a 40 years old coin, they would

Thanks John, good to know. I never find pre 67 Canadian coins. It's super super rare now a days. Think most of them are with collectors or have been melted down
