Has to be wear, because Maundy coins were always well struck with only lightly used dies, due to low mintage numbers. Light abrasive cleaning shows up more easily in the first two pics, more easily seen on the reverse. Plain edge Maundy, not a milled edge Britannia Joey. Report this Post to the Staff
