Wearwise, I'd say VF-30, but you have dings and possible corrosion damage on the Obv. IT has also been cleaned. It would be a details coin. At least it was dated before I was born.

Too much wear for VF IMO
When collecting these latter years of GEO V quarters always take the reverse into consideration, look for the strongest CAN you can find for the grade, especially on '36 dots.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Yes, "CANADA" is a bit weak. I get frustrated trying to grade non-U.S. coins because it's hard to find examples, especially in lower grades. "Coins and Canada" only gives examples of obverses.

@Gebs - full agreement from me - very useful! The one caveat is that some people disagree with the standards that the PCGS employs. My personal take is that you just need to be aware of what you're working with...
