This was Apollo 12. Does anyone have any idea what that metal shard is off on the left edge directly above the Liberty L?

Cool counter stamp. That's one of a seven coin set from the Apollo missions.

On pages two and three on the link in my signature line has pictures of all seven in the set.

Sort of looks like an S. Possibly a far, far misplaced Mint mark or just a damaged area.
