A coin, medal, a one-off strike? It looks too crude to even be an ancient coin. It is a metal of some kind though. No letters/digits etc. are visible but maybe they are there, just concealed under the edges. This was just recently mounted inside a ring around the edges so it could be worn on a chain around the neck. Its about 2cm, 3/4" in diameter. I see what I think to be 2 figures on one side and 1 on the other.

Take it to a gold buyers place and ask them to xrf scan it so we know the metal. The weight would also help.

One possibility is that it is a rather crude or imaginative replica of a a wave and pillar Spanish colonial gold.

Though in the second image, only the waves are a "match," so hopefully this is not the answer.
