Hey all, Boogeyman back and blasting out some possible bling bling but more likely blah blah. My friends are turning out to be quite delusional in an attempt to get me hyped up but they don't share quality coin.
Either way I'm back, and with this coin. The owner says that he really begged they have considerable value. We shall see. Nothing sadly to add because the pics capture it all. So can anyone tell me what it is what I have here.

Thanks all,
Boogeyman

It looks like a normal 57-D Wheat cent which is a common coin even in uncirculated condition. This coin, however, has seen better days. It has environmental damage that reduces its value to near face. I can't even say it's a "keeper" unless you really need a hole filler.

I'm seeing a circulated '57 D Wheat cent, complete with environmentally-caused crud/staining. Numismatic value falls somewhere between 2 and 5 cents.

Consider taking it to a Raleigh coin shop (or two) and see what they think.

Very common date, heavily circulated, just worth bullion value.

Highly worn, common coin, worth 5 cents.

Thanks y'all the best. Sorry to tell the guy that the 7 pennies he was trying to tell me where worth a grand a piece are just face value.
