Just bought a box from my bank. Teller told me I was kinda lucky to get them because there is still a shortage of coins.Anyways,I got the box in hopes of finding at least one W mint coin. 5 rolls in,no W but third coin in the first roll I find a 2020-P DDO-001 Virgin Island quarter . I was trying to remember what coins to look for when I found a nice 1970-D. Is it the reverse of 1968 on that coin? What to look for on it please? Any other ones I should look out for?,quarters are not my area. Thanks all. John1

Yeah RDV-008, leaf above arrows, for 69-D through 72-D: http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...arieties.htmI've had a lot of luck with 1970-D DDRs, I've found 4. A lot of the 60s-70s clad Washington doubled dies are very rare. I recommend researching those. 1977-1998 is not good for varieties. Not much to look for. 1979 WDDR-001, 1980-D DDR-001, 1981-P DDO-001, 1982-P WDDR-001, 1982-D DDR-001, 1986-P WDDR-001, 1989-P DDO-001, 1989-D DDR-001, and 1997-P WDDO-001. That's the entire list. The 1981-P DDO is the only major one and the 1997-P DDO is questionable. Then for state and ATB Quarters, the centrally located DDRs. And for the ATBs extra thickness on IGWT and RTY, but I think you got that already.

Excellent! Quote: I was trying to remember what coins to look for when I found a nice 1970-D. Is it the reverse of 1968 on that coin? What to look for on it please? You may want to post that and any other specific V/E finds on the V/E forum for a closer look.

Well John you are expanding your search, will you reach the 5 million mark with the quarters?

I'm about 20 rolls in and no silver no W and no Canadian which is odd. About 7 1976 did not keep any. John1

Quote: Plenty of 2009's. That on its own is rather impressive, given how stingy anything 2009 can be. Quote: I'm about 20 rolls in and no silver no W and no Canadian which is odd. About 7 1976 did not keep any. Keep trying!

The pictures are nice, might want to post this one in its own grading topic for broader comment.

I am in the center so I get a fairly good mix of mintmarks. Except for San Francisco anywhere. Even in the cents, the business strike ones thats maybe 2-3 of those in a box.

East coast. Seems to be an equal mix of P & D. Even found a 2008 Panama in a roll last night. About 30 or so 1976 P & D but still not a single Canadian . I wonder if the company that rolls them are some how pulling out the Canadians.I also noticed that one of the 2021 has the date on the obverse side that I like. John1
